Washington, Oct 17 : Angelina Jolie need not worry about partner Brad Pitt cheating on her, for he believes that people who have affairs always get caught.
Pitt was rumoured to have an affair with Jolie on the sets of their movie 'Mr and Mrs Smith'. Shortly after the movie premiered, he left then wife Jennifer Aniston and set up house with Angelina.
However, he tells British magazine Cosmopolitan that he has never cheated on a partner, and that it is not something he is likely to do as he's convinced that it will catch up with him sooner or later.
"I always have and I always will (be faithful). I don't like to see couples who have affairs on film sets - or anywhere," Contactmusic quoted him, as telling the mag.
"I operate on the belief that it catches up with you," he added.
The actor will now be seen in a starring role in the movie 'State of Play' alongside Edward Norton and Jason Bateman.
The movie will see Norton playing a congressman whose speedy political rise is threatened by an investigation into the death of his mistress.
Pitt will be playing the role of a politico-turned-journalist whose relationship with the solon is compromised when he oversees his newspaper's investigation into the murder and develops a relationship with the politician's estranged wife.
