Daniel Craigs swearing leaves him broke on The Golden Compass set

Hollywood stars Nicole Kidman and Daniel Craig introduced a swear box to avoid corrupting their child co-stars on the sets of The Golden Compass.

Washington, Nov29 : Hollywood stars Nicole Kidman and Daniel Craig introduced a 'swear box' to avoid corrupting their child co-stars on the sets of 'The Golden Compass'.

The adult cast members were forced to dip into their pockets every time they used bad language to protect the innocence of youngsters such as 13-year-old newcomer Dakota Blue Richards.

Craig said that the 'box' cost him a lot of money.

"It was worth every penny. It cost me a lot of money but it was good. I had to pay a small fortune," Contactmusic quoted the actor, as saying.

"It became a joke after a while - sometimes Dakota would be on set and you wouldn't know it and you'd hear, 'It's another pound,' he added.

The Casino Royale star also said that working with kids gives him a kick out.

" I get a big kick out of working with children because you've got to keep them enthused and it's a long day," the 39-year-old actor said.
