The Scottish star, the first actor to portray suave agent James Bond in cinema, believes that his retirement is for good this time.
He has already turned down five projects that could fetch him 80 million dollars, including the latest Indiana Jones film, directed by Steven Spielberg.
"It's over. I will never do another film," Contactmusic quoted him as saying.
Connery's wife Micheline Roquebrune, however, is not sure whether he will keep his words about never to return on the big screen.
"He's said that twice before!" she said.
