London, Nov 23: A steamy clip that shows Ashlee Simpson's boyfriend Pete Wentz's making out with an unidentified woman is making the rounds of video sharing website Youtube.
The 29 seconds clip, dubbed as 'The Pete Wentz Sex Tape' was also played on gossip blog PerezHilton.com.
The Fall Out Boy star was quick to mend the damage done and issued a statement on the band's website claiming the tape 'isn't real'.
"I just wanted to put the word out on the streets/the Internet. There is no Pete Wentz sex tape in existence," the Sun quoted him as saying.
The 28-year-old star insisted that the raunchy video is a preview of a scene lifted from a short movie called Goodnight Moon.
"About a year and a half ago I took part in an indie gore/horror short film as a favor to my friend Nathan - called Goodnight Moon.
"Either way I'm not into being an actor or having a sex tape either sooooooooo, hopefully you can deal with it...."
