Led Zeppelin are reportedly getting set to make their fans wish come true, by setting out on tour next year.

Washington, Nov 22 : Led Zeppelin are reportedly getting set to make their fans' wish come true, by setting out on tour next year.

Though the group had refused to confirm rumours that they were planning a full scale reunion tour, the band that plays as their tour support has revealed that a series of concerts have been planned for 2008.

Ian Astbury, lead singer of the Cult, hinted that his band is to support Zeppelin on a tour while playing a show in Cincinnati last week.

"We'll be back next year, because we're opening for a band you may have heard of. The name starts with an L and has a Z in it," Contactmusic quoted Astbury, as saying.

According to Billboard.com, when an audience member shouted "Led Zeppelin", the Cult frontman nodded.

Meanwhile guitarist Jimmy Page has told Blabbermouth that it would be 'silly not to tour' given the response they had got for their concerts.

"It's a bit silly not to [tour] because there is such massive demand... It's a bit selfish to do just one show," he said.

He added: "If that's it, we probably shouldn't have taken the genie out of the bottle."
