The French luxury company sued the singer for damaging its image after they found out the Hummer she drives in a video for her 2005 song 'Do Something' has a counterfeit Vuitton "cherry blossom" monogrammed on the dashboard.
According to Women's Wear Daily, Louis Vuitton has now won a court injunction in Paris to keep the video from airing on on European TV stations, reports usmagazine.com.
The court has also ordered the video's producer to shelve out 117,600 dollars to the company for damaging its image, and 1,470 dollars per day until the video is removed from the Internet.
Named in the suit are Spears' record label, Jive, its parent company Zomba Label Group and Sony BMG and MTV Online, where the video has appeared.
