Actress Michelle Pfeiffer is set to appear in a remake of Grease as Rydell Highs sassy headmistress.
Washington, Nov 2 : Actress Michelle Pfeiffer is set to appear in a remake of 'Grease' as Rydell High's sassy headmistress.
Pfeiffer, who starred in the 1982 sequel 'Grease 2', has been picked to join the cast for a new version of the original 1978 hit musical.
And, that actress is keen to play Eve Arden's role, Principal McGee.
"I would love to play the school principal. She is fun and has some great put-down lines. I think I would like the part now that I have been asked," Contactmusic quoted Pfeiffer, as saying.
The 'Stardust' actress has claimed that producers are trying to persuade Jessica Simpson to take the lead of Sandy - played by Olivia Newton-John in the original.
"It's a great idea and I hear they would like to get Jessica Simpson for the role of Sandy. She would be good," she added.
