London, Nov 2 : It looks like rapper Snoop Dogg and football star David Beckham are now best mates.
The pair is planning to make a film together and have discussed launching a fashion label too.
"No one would have thought me and my boy David would have anything in common - we come from separate worlds," the Mirror quoted Dogg, as stating at the MTV European Music Awards in Munich."But he has the dollars at his disposal and we're talking about putting our money together to do a movie. It's incredibly exciting.
"We both love fashion, too, and we might even do a fashion label as well. I think he got his idea to have cornrows in his hair from me, which is great," he added.
And the duo's friendship is not just restricted to business, for the 32-year-old footballer is also giving Dogg's three kids football lessons.
The former England captain held the first training session at Snoop's Beverly Hills mansion recently.
"It's not just business that we talk about when we're together, we also chat about our families all the time," Dogg said.
"David and I go back years. I asked him to come over and do me this favour as he is the one who has made everyone wake up and pay attention to soccer over here.
"He was terrific with my kids and they had a great time as he taught them how to shoot and score the perfect goal. That's a partnership you never thought you would see - Snoop and Beckham.
"I love soccer just as he loves hip hop. He hasn't asked me to teach his kids how to rap yet - but I'm there if he ever needs it," he added.
