Soap opera star Justin Bruening has been picked to step into David Hasselhoffs shoes in the new Knight Rider pilot.
Washington, Nov 2 : Soap opera star Justin Bruening has been picked to step into David Hasselhoff's shoes in the new 'Knight Rider' pilot.
Bruening will play the son of Michael Knight, the character played by Hasselhoff in the original series.
Steve Shill is set to direct and co-exec produce "Rider".
Dave Andron penned the script, with Doug Liman and Dave Bartis on board as executive producers for Universal Media Studios and Dutch Oven Prods.
Andron serves as supervising producer, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
Bruening, in the meantime, is playing Jamie Martin on soap opera "All My Children" and also had a role on the ABC soap "One Life to Live."
