Pirates of the Caribbean beauty Keira Knightley has been picked to be the new face of Chanels Coco Mademoiselle perfume.
Sydney, Nov 16: 'Pirates of the Caribbean' beauty Keira Knightley has been picked to be the new face of Chanel's Coco Mademoiselle perfume.
She will now be appearing in an advertisement for Chanel in a cinema-style ode to the iconic fashion house's past and present.
Joe Wright, who directed Knightley in the movie 'Atonement', will be directing her again in the multimillion-dollar advertisement, hitting the television and cinema screens on December 2, reports Sydney Morning Herald.
The Paris locations featured in the Ad are steeped in the history of designer Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel, as Knightley embodies a modern muse for the perfume. A replica of Chanel's apartment at 31 rue Cambon will be featuring in the opening scenes.
"I think she had a tougher personality than mine," said Knightley.
Chanel's last "mini film" starred Nicole Kidman and was directed by Baz Luhrmann for No.5 perfume.
