London, Nov 18 : Sir Paul McCartney has reduced his divorce offer to estranged wife Heather Mills to only 7 million pounds, following the latter's bizarre TV rants.
The ex-Beatle has slashed a whopping 43 million pounds off his reported original settlement.
The veteran singer is sure that Mills' recent TV outbursts, in which she held him responsible for the split, have dramatically weakened her state.
"The war between them has just gone to a new level. Paul knows she will go all out to damage his reputation," News of the world quoted a source, as saying.
The 65-year-old singer came up with the offer just weeks after he gave Mills a reduced 23 million pounds now-or-never ultimatum in a bid to force a settlement in their bitter divorce.
However, Mills, who has claimed to be suffering from panic attacks, is planning to bounce back by selling tapes of their turbulent five-year marriage.
Last week, it was revealed that the 39-year-old former model has a secret box of evidence which includes a claim that McCartney branded her a "one-legged bitch", raged at her and used Viagra to pep up their sex life.
