New York, Nov 18 : According to French organisers of the Chopard emporium Eva Herzigova is a 'bigger star' than Sir Elton John.
It so happened that while the 60-year old singer was holding the royal court at the company's opening on Madison Ave, the organisers were waiting for the 34-year-old Czech supermodel to show up.
A source revealed that one party planner was overheard worrying that "only Elton and Liz Hurley were available to cut the cake" for the bijou boutique.
"Apparently, Chopard feels that Eva is a bigger name for them internationally, which is ridiculous," the New York Daily News quoted a source, as saying.
Eva walked in and joined Elton and Hurley just as the cake was to be cut and the Chopard staff breathed a collective sigh of relief.
