The Daily Mail's David Thomas has devised a mathematical formula to name the most pointless celeb.
The formula covers everything from annual income and delinquency factor to their actual talent.
The formula is - {(C2+b)G) + (pxd)/ t x pq.
Here, C stands for cash i.e. the person's annual income, expressed on a scale of 1 to 10 then squared.
b equals to brand value i.e. the number of different outlets for the star's money making expressed on 1-10 scale.
G is the Google Index, i.e. the number of hits in millions, when you search the star's name on Google.
p stands for publicity covering column inches, magazine covers, TV documentaries etc, expressed on a 1-10 scale.
d equals to the delinquency factor associated with the celeb including arrests, rehab, love-scandals, court cases, children being removed etc, expressed on a 1-10 scale.
t is the actual talent the star has in a creative activity, expressed on a 1-10 scale.
pq stands for the personal qualities including intelligence, beauty, kindness, wit etc, expressed on a 1-10 scale.
The formula works on the 'lower the score, the more pointless the celeb' principle, reports the Daily Mail.
Some of the pointless celebs emerging after the application of the formula included socialite Paris Hilton with 228 points, actress Lindsay Lohan with 114 points, and British glamour model Jordan with 151 points.
Stars who were a little more pointless included Jade Goody with 37 points, Kerry Katona with 23 points, Calum Best with 10 points, and Paul Danan with 4 points.
But the prestigious title of the 'Most Pointless Celebrity' belonged to Jordan's singer hubby Peter Andre, with a mere 2 points.
