When Redford, Streep made Cruise lose focus

Hollywood actor Tom Cruise has revealed that he found it very hard to act in the presence of Hollywood veterans Robert Redford and Meryl Streep on the sets of his latest film Lion for Lambs.

Washington, Nov 1: Hollywood actor Tom Cruise has revealed that he found it very hard to act in the presence of Hollywood veterans Robert Redford and Meryl Streep on the sets of his latest film 'Lion for Lambs'.

The 45-year-old actor admits that he was so in awe of Redford and Streep, that he often lost his focus while filming.

"No way was I ever going to turn down that opportunity! There were moments when we were filming, when I was sitting across from Meryl, looking at her porcelain skin and those blue eyes," Contactmusic quoted Cruise as saying.

"Redford would come up behind her to give me a piece of direction and it would be like I'd walked into a scene from Out of Africa. Redford would say something and I'd have to say, 'Sorry, I missed that... uh... could you say it again?'" he added.

Meanwhile, Cruise has lined-up a series of events to cheer up good pal David Beckham following his disappointing soccer season.

"We will go out and fly some airplanes or race some cars or something like that."
