London, Nov 1 : 'The Mummy' star Rachel Weisz turned into Snow White for a day when she posed for celeb photographer Annie Leibowitz in a series of new images for Disney as part of its Year of a Million Dreams celebration.
Also undergoing a metamorphosis were tennis ace Roger Federer and Dame Julie Andrews who became King Arthur and the Blue Fairy from Pinocchio respectively.
While mum-of-one Weisz insisted that age was no bar for wanting to be Snow White, Leibovitz revealed that with her alabaster skin and dark hair, the Oscar winner had been perfect for the part of the fairy tale character.
"I'm a woman now, but it doesn't matter what age your are, I think you always want to be Snow White. It is every little girl's dream," the Daily Mail quoted Weisz, as saying.
"And to be photographed by Annie, one of the great living artists, is really an amazing collaboration."
Leibovitz said: "She was so Snow White. Rachel Weisz was just a perfect Snow White."
Tennis ace Roger Federer admitted that he felt 'strong' posing as King Arthur and pulling out the sword from the rock.
"I did feel strong on that rock. I'm higher than everybody. I got the sword. I got the armour. It felt very funny and good actually," he said.
Jay Rasulo, chairman of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, said the campaign was "about the imaginations and dreams that are inside us all".
The images will be featured as an insert in the December issues of several US magazines including Vanity Fair, GQ, Vogue, W, The New Yorker, Conde Nast Traveller, Glamour, Cookie, Details, Glamour, Self and Men's Vogue.
