Washington, May 5 : It seems that one of the reasons why Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen broke up with Victoria's Secret was because the lingerie giant refused to give in to her demand that she would not share the ramp with ex-boyfriend Leonardo DiCaprio's current ladylove Bar Refaeli.
Earlier, Bundchen's sister confirmed that Bundchen, the highest paid model in the world, had quit as the lingerie line's 'Angel' after the company refused to raise her annual salary from 5 million dollars she already pockets.
It seems that what had Victoria's secret upset, was the fact that not only did the Brazilian bombshell want to make more money, but she was also not interested in travelling around so much anymore.
It is also rumoured that Victoria's Secret did not like Bundchen putting on 15 lbs.
Bundchen revealed that she gained weight after she quit smoking.
"When you stop smoking you gain weight, because food tastes better than when it tasted like ashtray," TMZ quoted Bundchen, as saying.
The sudden weight gain was linked to the supermodel being pregnant with current boyfriend American footballer Tom Brady's child.
However, that time her family rubbished the buzz while Bundchen and Brady made no comments.
