Actress Charlotte Church has revealed that she had to shell out a lot of money on her pet poochs open-heart surgery, in order to save its life. The Welsh warbler told that at the time of its birth, her Jack Russell puppy Bennys heart beat was running thrice as fast as other dogs.
London, May 30 : Actress Charlotte Church has revealed that she had to shell out a lot of money on her pet pooch's open-heart surgery, in order to save its life. The Welsh warbler told that at the time of its birth, her Jack Russell puppy Benny's heart beat was running thrice as fast as other dogs'.
She said that her pet would not survive if she had not got it operated.
"Benny is three, but when he was born he had a wild heart beat - three times faster than most dogs," the Sun quoted her as saying.
"He had open heart surgery. He would have died otherwise," she added.
Charlotte also revealed that the medical fees for Bunny's surgery was much higher than what she would ever have spent on her own medical treatments.
"The bill was so expensive, much more than I have ever paid on health care for me, or any member of my family," she said.
"The dogs get all the good treatment," she added.
Charlotte has three other Jack Russells, namely Ike, Tina and Frankie.
