New York, May 3 : American singer/actor Usher may be ushering out his mom Jonetta Patton as his manager.
According to an insider, the reason behind this decision is the R and B/pop singer's fiancie, Tameka Foster who does not share a very good chemistry with Patton.
"They definitely don't get along. Tameka came to Jonetta's birthday on April 6. They hugged and posed for photos, but it was all for the cameras," New York Daily News quoted a source, as saying.
As for why there are such cold vibes between the two leading ladies in Usher's life, well it seems that that's because Patton once wanted Usher to remove Foster as his stylist.
"Tameka went on the radio and took some shots at Jonetta," the source said.
According to a friend, Usher is very influenced by 38-year-old Foster and there are chances that she may turn out to be the singer's new manager.
"Tameka has a hold over him. Nobody can figure it out. Some people think he may make Tameka his manager," the friend said.
As far as executives at Usher's label Jive are concerned they insisted that Patton has managed the career of the five times Grammy award singer very well, and they are asking her to take over as Britney Spears' manager.
"They think Jonetta's done an incredible job with his career. They're encouraging her to take on Britney Spears," the friend added.
Usher's rep has however ridiculed the reports claiming he does not know about any such plans.
"I don't know of any management changes at this time," the rep said.
Meanwhile, according to a source, the editors of Stuff magazine are angry at Usher for backing out as the host of their 'Kentucky Derby' party.
"They originally wanted Justin Timberlake, but someone talked them into going with Usher," the source said.
However an employee at Stuff denies this and insisted that cover model Taryn Manning will be hosting the show.
