Washington, May 3 : Actor Tobey Maguire has decided never to disclose filmmaking secrets behind Spider-Man's super skills to young fans, after reducing one boy to tears.
The Spider-Man 3 star is regularly approached by children to decipher the special powers of the superhero.
And Maguire admitted that on one occasion he told a boy that his character couldn't climb buildings in reality, causing the child to weep.
"When they're really young, sometimes they don't quite know if I'm real or if I'm an actor. I'm not sure how to respond to their questions," Contactmusic quoted Maguire, as saying.
"This one little boy asked me, 'How do you climb up the wall?' I had to explain the reality of it. So I said, 'They put the wall on its side so it's horizontal, so basically I'm crawling on the ground.' "I just crushed this kid... By the way, me and him are cool now. I think the thing to basically do is lie," he said.
