A friend of Jemima has revealed that Khan's dumping of Hugh in March was a ploy to bring the actor to heel, and that she may have succeeded.
According to the insider, the couple have been discussing giving their relationship another go, and that Khan has made it clear that getting back together will also mean a wedding ring and babies.
"Hugh would love to get back together properly with Jemima and they have been again discussing getting married. It is very much part of the deal that if they can resolve this crisis, then it will lead to marriage and children. They both say they want that, so it is a question of whether they are able to work it out," the Daily Mail quoted the pal, as saying.
The friend added that Khan "desperately" wants Grant back in her life.
"She desperately wants him back in her life, and he desperately wants to be there," the pal said.
And furthering reports of a reconciliation between the couple has been the dinner dates the two have been seen on in the past few weeks.
Commenting on the state of the pair's relationship, another pal added: "The situation is that they are seeing each other, but they are not seeing each other. It's not easy for either of them."
