New York, May 3 : "Girls Gone Wild" man Joe Francis has insisted that he is not a racist.
Francis, who is serving 35 days of jail imprisonment for contempt of court, declined being a segregationist, and said that he is just cheap.
Francis, before going to jail, did an interview with Tyra Banks, who asked him why there are no topless black girls in his videos.
"Here's the problem with black girls. They want to get paid. ... [Other girls,] I just ask and they do it," New York Daily News quoted Francis, as stating in the interview.
Francis was recently charged with one count of misdemeanour sexual battery.
According to Los Angeles City Attorney spokesman Frank Mateljan announcement, an 18-year-old has alleged that at a Hollywood birthday party, Francis touched her breast, buttocks and inner thigh, and that despite being asked to stop, he continued touching her 10 times.
Francis has also been charged with tax evasion, for which he might face 10 years in prison and 500,000 dollars, if found guilty.After the latter charges were filed on April 11, Francis was also accused for trying to bribe a public servant.He has also been charged for three counts of possession of a controlled substance and five counts of introducing smuggled goods into a detention facility.
