Washington, May 3 : Sandra Bullock has filed a request for a restraining order against the woman who tried to run her husband Jesse James over.
Bullock had watched in horror as a woman obsessed with her tried to kill her husband in an attack outside the couple's Orange County home on Sunday, Apr 22.
According to the cops, Bullock, and hubby Jesse James' 10-year old kid, watched as Marcia Valentine "attempted 3 or 4 times to run Jesse James over with her silver Mercedes."
Thankfully, Valentine had not managed to hit James.
By the time cops arrived on the scene, Valentine, who also "laid in the driveway and wouldn't move", had fled from the place.
An intensive manhunt was then carried out, after which the woman was found early on Apr 23, and taken into custody.
She was later released on bail and is currently awaiting her next court date.
However, Bullock is not taking any chances as far as her family's safety is concerned, and has filed for a restraining order in an Orange County Court to keep Valentine away from her, James, as well as his three young kids, reports TMZ.
In court documents, Bullock not only described the recent horrifying incident, but also revealed that Valentine had trespassed onto the grounds of the couple's home "on several occasions, and threw numerous signs and other objects over their gate."
