English pop singer-songwriter Emma Bunton probably thought that she would go squeaky clean after appearing in a funny pasta sauce commercial in the States.

London, May 3 : English pop singer-songwriter Emma Bunton probably thought that she would go squeaky clean after appearing in a funny pasta sauce commercial in the States.

The expecting mum can be seen in the Prego spicy Italian sauce ad stirring a pan and muttering about something missing in her dish.

The commercial has been posted on the web.

The tag line of the former 'Baby Spice's new cash in on ad is spoken by an American announcer who sounds more corny than amusing.

"Even a Spice Girl can't think of a single spice to add to the perfectly seasoned Prego," Sun quoted the announcer, as saying.

With this Bunton has joined the row of Brad Pitt and Harrison Ford who earlier shot for commercials in Japan.
