Washington, May 25 : Oprah Winfrey's father has put plans to bring out a tell-all book about the talk show queen on hold.
Recent reports in the media had claimed that Vernon Winfrey was writing a book about his famous daughter, which shocked and disappointed Oprah.
However, Vernon has now said that he is not writing any such book as of now.
He insists that his daughter has not persuaded him to drop the idea of publishing the book.
"There is no book. We might think about it later on," Contactmusic quoted him as saying.
"It's just on hold right now," he added.
