Matt Damon bids adieu to theBourne series

Hollywood actor Matt Damon has no plans to reprise the role of Jason Bourne for a fourth instalment of the movie series.

Washington, May 25 : Hollywood actor Matt Damon has no plans to reprise the role of Jason Bourne for a fourth instalment of the movie series.

Speaking at a press conference for Ocean's Thirteen in Cannes, Matt told reporters that 'The Bourne Ultimatum' is his finale with the series.

"The 'Bourne' thing I'm definitely done with. We have ridden that horse as far as we can," Variety quoted Damon, as saying.

Damon also owned up to feeling like "a bit of a prostitute for putting out two number threes in one year," to which George Clooney added, "That's better than three number twos."

However, the Oscar-winner added that the Bourne character possibly will continue, played by another actor, much like the James Bond series.

Universal pictures' 'The Bourne Ultimatum', which is based on Robert Ludlum's best-selling novel of the same name, will hit the screens on August 3.
