Jessica Simpson back to her iconic blonde looks

Singer and actress Jessica Simpson has dyed her hair back to her original cornsilk shade.

Washington, May 25 : Singer and actress Jessica Simpson has dyed her hair back to her original cornsilk shade.

Simpson insisted at the ongoing Cannes film festival that she was lightening up for her role in her new film 'Major Movie Star'.

"I'm on my way to being blonde for the movie," usweekly.com quoted Simpson, as saying.

Simpson made a dramatic change from a cornsilk blonde color to brown last February.

According to insiders, Simpson went for the change because of her boyfriend John Mayer, who prefers darker hair.

"John told Jessica that she has to change. He didn't want to be dating this 'blonde bimbo,'" a source said.
