Melbourne, May 21 : Hollywood film producer, Joel Silver, will reportedly produce 'He-Man and the Masters of the Universe', weeks after rumours that Legendary Pictures has bought the rights for the film made rounds.
It is said that Adam Rifkin will not pen the script and instead, newcomer Justin Marks has been roped for the role, reports Moviehole.
Recently, a British newspaper claimed that 'Troy' star, Brad Pitt, is being considered by the Superman Returns moviemakers to reintroduce the Eighties cult character in a 2007 avatar.
A source said that producers are eager to cast Brad for the role, which was last portrayed in a 1987 live-action film, 'Masters of the Universe', by actor Dolph Lundgren.
However, Pitt shunned reports that he might star as the fictional heroic character.
The other names associated with the project are Jennifer Garner and John Glover.
