Washington, June 8 : Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty has given a thumbs up to the judges of reality TV show 'Big Brother', who ejected 19-year-old contestant Emily Parr from the show after she made a racist comment.
Parr had called her fellow contestant Charley Uchea a 'n**ger', following which TV network Channel 4 and production company Endemol decided to remove her from the house.
Shilpa, who herself bore the brunt of racial slurs on Celebrity Big Brother earlier this year, praised the channel for ensuring that whoever misbehaves will go out.
"I'm glad that Channel 4 has taken action. Well I'm really happy and I compliment them on the action they have taken," Contactmusic quoted her as saying.
"Intolerance of any form has to be debunked. For a change (Channel 4) has done some good," she added.
Shipa had become the target of alleged racist bullying by housemates Jade Goody, Danielle Lloyd, and Jo O'Meara while she was starring in 'Celebrity Big Brother'.
