Singer/actress Beverly DAngelo is reportedly set to star in the sequel of the 2004 comedy movie Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle.
Washington, June 7 : Singer/actress Beverly D'Angelo is reportedly set to star in the sequel of the 2004 comedy movie 'Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle'.
Screenwriter Jon Hurwitz insisted that the 'Vacation' actress was very easy to convince when it came to reading the script of the movie.
"With her it was about making an offer to her and having her read the script," Moviehole quoted Hurwitz, as telling JewReview.net.
Hurwitz revealed that the interest D'Angelo is showing in the film script makes him feel 'great'.
"It's a great feeling when someone, who you grew up with watching in the Vacation movies, is calling you up on the phone and talking to you about how she loved the script and it's the funniest thing she's read in a long time," Hurwitz said.
"She's quoting obscure parts in the movie that aren't even related to her scenes - that's one of the favourite parts about being a director," Hurwitz added.
The plot of the first 'Harold and Kumar' movie revolved around the two title characters, who decide to go to the fast food restaurant White Castle after smoking marijuana, only to find themselves on a series of comical misadventures instead.
