Actor Jim Carrey is all set to star in will star in Sober Buddies, which he will co-produce Pictures with Stuber/Parents Scott Stuber and Mary Parent and Michael Peyser for Universal Pictures.

Washington, June 29 : Actor Jim Carrey is all set to star in will star in 'Sober Buddies', which he will co-produce Pictures with Stuber/Parent's Scott Stuber and Mary Parent and Michael Peyser for Universal Pictures.

The script for the film, which revolves around a hard-partying software exec assigned a court-appointed Sober Buddy to keep him under control during a critical business trip to Las Vegas, is being written by Andrew Kurtzman

A Variety magazine report says that Kurtzman, who's writing the DreamWorks film 'Mr. Peabody and Sherman', hatched the project as a pitch with Principal Entertainment's Danny Sherman.

When they brought the project to Carrey, he took it to Stuber who in turn sent it to Universal under the duo's overall deal at the studio.
