Washington, June 25 : Princess Diana's brother Earl Spencer thinks that people will never stop profitting from the late royale's life and death because numerous stories about her have been sold during her lifetime and after her demise.
He said that in Diana's life, she was a 'cash crop' for people who sold stories and wrote books on her.
Earl Spencer added that he cannot think of a time, when people will stop taking interest in her.
"I can never foresee a day when there won't be an interest in Diana. In her life, Diana was a cash crop for a lot of people in terms of writing books and selling stories," Contactmusic quoted him, as saying.
The 43-year-old aristocrat also admitted that he regrets hitting out at the British Royal Family at her funeral in 1997.
In his famous speech, Earl Spencer slammed Diana's former in-laws, and vowed to protect her sons Princes William and Harry.
He also said his sister was "the most haunted person of the modern age".
