Rock star Pete Doherty has revealed that a cop had once arrested him only to force him to give an autograph for his son.
London, June 25 : Rock star Pete Doherty has revealed that a cop had once arrested him only to force him to give an autograph for his son.
The 'Babyshambles' star says that he was shocked when the policeman forced him to the ground, and asked if he would give an autograph.
"The policeman had a badge saying 'Pete Doherty is innocent'," the Mirror quoted him as telling Jonathan Ross on his BBC1 chat show on Friday.
"I was gobsmacked. I was face down before being asked, 'You wouldn't sign this for my son would you, Pete?' I said, 'Take the cuffs off and I'll do it now'," the star added.
Doherty also denied that he had married his girlfriend Kate Moss, scotching recent rumours that they had wedded on holiday.
"Yes, we did it for the third time, ninth time," he jokily.
Doherty, who invited Kate to sing with him at Glastonbury at the weekend, also told Ross that they escaped the crowds by taking moonlit strolls around London.
"When you get away, it's more special," he said.
