Sandra Bullock finds her Mr Right in Spiderman villain

Spiderman villain Thomas Hayden Church has signed on to star opposite Hollywood darling Sandra Bullock in a romantic comedy.

Washington, June 25 : Spiderman villain Thomas Hayden Church has signed on to star opposite Hollywood darling Sandra Bullock in a romantic comedy.

The movie, 'All About Steve', will be helmed by Phil Traill who will be making his directorial debut with the project.

Filming for the Fox 2000 film is set to begin shooting this summer, reports the Hollywood Reporter.

Producing the comedy will be Bullock her Fortis Films shingle, with Mary McLaglen as executive producer alongside Underground Films' Nicholas Osborne and Trevor Engelson.

The story centres on a brilliant crossword constructor played by Bullock who, after one short date, decides that a CNN cameraman to be played by Church is her Mr Right.

In an attempt to convince him that she's the woman for him, Bullock's character criss-crosses the USA, turning up at media events.

However, while she fails to convince him that they are meant to be together, she does find her niche after falling in with a bunch of misfits.

'License to Wed' writer Kim Barker has penned the screenplay for the movie.
