Film and TV actor Eric Bana will be the executive producer of the geo-political drama, Dubai, scripted by Adam Cozad and produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura.

Washington, June 25 : Film and TV actor Eric Bana will be the executive producer of the geo-political drama, Dubai, scripted by Adam Cozad and produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura.

The film is about a young economist, who is stationed in Dubai by Iranian operatives. The economist is used in a plot to trigger the fall of the US economy, leaving him in the middle as he desperately tries to prove his innocence.

It is said that Bana is interested to work only as the producer for the film, reports Variety.

The Oz actor has just finished filming for "The Other Boleyn Girl," in which he is playing King Henry VIII opposite Scarlett Johansson and Natalie Portman.

His upcoming project includes Robert Schwentke's "The Time Traveller's Wife" for New Line with Rachel McAdams.
