Indie rock band Arctic Monkeys got supermodel Kate Moss and her boyfriend Pete Doherty removed from the backstage area recently at the Glastonbury music festival.
London, June 25 : Indie rock band 'Arctic Monkeys' got supermodel Kate Moss and her boyfriend Pete Doherty removed from the backstage area recently at the Glastonbury music festival.
Media reports say that the band did not want to be troubled by people with bad reputation, which is why they demanded that the backstage area be cleared of riff-raff, which included the couple.
A witness has revealed that Doherty and Kate wanted to position themselves at a place from where they could get a clear view of the band, but were displaced following the band's demand.
"The Arctics wanted to pick and choose who they had standing behind them and they obviously didn't want them there. When they turned up at the set with about five pals, a Scouse bouncer told them to get lost. Kate and Pete were fuming and ended up sat at the back of the stage," the Sun quoted the onlooker as saying.
"But in the end they went to the backstage bar and started snogging the face off each other," the witness added.
The newspaper also reports that Doherty's mother Jacqui, who was there to see his gig, herself felt that the 'Babyshambles' rocker had a long way to go before kicking drugs.
"Pete's not ready to give up yet. He will have to hit rock bottom before he can rise up again," she said.
