Angelina Jolie has reportedly stopped giving money to a project she set up in her eldest son Maddoxs name.
Washington, June 24 : Angelina Jolie has reportedly stopped giving money to a project she set up in her eldest son Maddox's name.
Jolie set up The Maddox Jolie Project (MJP) "to protect and rehabilitate the wildlife, eco-system and watershed conservation values" in Cambodia, her son's birth country.
However, TMZ revealed that the actress has now stopped funding the conservation charity, and that its future is uncertain due to her move.
"Because of lack of funds the future of this project is uncertain," Contactmusic quoted a source, as telling the website.
The star has in the meantime dismissed accusations that she's an irresponsible parent, after being repeatedly condemned for travelling to dangerous areas of the developing world as a United Nations Goodwill Ambassador.
Jolie defended herself saying that her willpower to transform the globe into a more humane place is instead a shining example to her kids.
"I do no service to my children by staying home and allowing the world to be what it is," she said.
"That's not teaching them anything, it's not raising them properly," she added.
