Washington, June 20 : Donald Trump and MTV are reportedly in talks to start a new reality show 'Pageant Place' with Miss Universe Riyo Mori, Miss USA Rachel Smith and Miss Teen USA.
The show will be a mix of Trump's 'The Apprentice' and MTV reality show 'The Real World', with the beauty pageants winners living as housemates in a New York apartment.
Miss USA 2006 Tara Conner, who became the centre of a public scandal when news reports claimed she had been drinking while underage, testing positive for the use of cocaine, and kissing Miss Teen USA Katie Blair in public, will also be a part of the show.
Conner, who was allowed to retain her title by Trump and entered a drug rehabilitation program, will serve as a chaperon to the three beauties.
According to Trump, who jointly owns The Miss Universe Organization with National Broadcasting Company (NBC), the show will highlight the real life of the beauty contest winners.
The 61-year-old remarked that the reality series would also show how a 'slob' like talk show host Rosie O'Donnell became so interested in these people.
"We'd been thinking about everything that happens backstage and how women like Tara captured the imagination of so many of us, including a slob named Rosie O'Donnell, who didn't like that I gave Tara a second chance," Variety quoted Trump, as saying.
Trump and O'Donnell had a tiff after the later criticized the billionaire on 'The View' a day after he appeared before reporters with Conner to announce that he would allow her to continue acting as Miss USA, despite her violation of pageant guidelines by partying and drinking.
O'Donnell said that, due to Trump's multiple marriages and apparent infidelities, he was not a moral authority for young people in America.
The show will follow the beauty queens making appearances for promoting various causes and going on international trips.
The half-hour series might also highlight the drama between Conner and Blair, who have sometimes had a rocky relationship.
The show will be produced via Trump Prods. banner, and will be executively produced by Trump, Trump Prods. president Andy Litinsky and Miss Universe Organization president Paula Shugart and Evolution's Doug Ross.
Although the show will have some similarities to 'The Apprentice', it will not have the elimination-style competition like it.
"We won't have any competitions or eliminations. We don't need any of that because there's already so much here. It's all real," Litinsky said.
'Pageant Place' was set up at VH1 before it shifted to MTV.
