Late princess Dianas former butler Paul Burrell, who has lost favour with the British public since using his royal connection to earn money, has reportedly decided to go the US to mark her 10th death anniversary.
London, June 20 : Late princess Diana's former butler Paul Burrell, who has lost favour with the British public since using his royal connection to earn money, has reportedly decided to go the US to mark her 10th death anniversary.
Burrell has told his friends that he will observe the occasion by featuring in shows there, for the country's people are more sympathetic than their UK counterparts.
Burrell is said to have made the decision after Prince William and Prince Harry did not invite him for Concert for Diana at Wembley arena on July 1st this year.
He has also been left out of the London memorial service on August 31 - Diana's 10th death anniversary.
"As William and Harry obviously don't want him involved in things over here, Paul now reckons he's better off keeping well away," Daily Express quoted a pal, as saying.
"It's going to be an emotional time for him but Paul feels people in America will be a lot more receptive to what he has to say about Diana on this sad date than those in the UK. He expects to make a few TV appearances in the US to mark the occasion," he added.
