Angelina and Mariane are like Roosevelt and Churchill, says Pitt

Being with in the same room with lady love Angelina Jolie and Mariane Pearl makes Brad Pitt feel as if hes with Roosevelt and Churchill.

Washington, June 20 : Being with in the same room with lady love Angelina Jolie and Mariane Pearl makes Brad Pitt feel as if he's with 'Roosevelt and Churchill'.

Pitt, who was a producer on the movie adaptation of Mariane Pearl's book about the kidnapping and slaying of her journalist husband Daniel Pearl in Pakistan, tells the new issue of Newsweek that the two women are as passionate about what they do as the two great World War II leaders of the US and UK.

However, there is one big difference - the two are 'much better-looking' than the politicians.

"Being in the room with those two women is great fun. It's like sitting down with Roosevelt and Churchill. Only much better-looking," Us Weekly quoted him, as saying.

Pitt also reveals in the interview that though he was sure that Jolie would be the best actress to play Mariane in the movie, he was hesitant to broach the subject.

"I knew the part had to be played by someone with Mariane's strength and understanding of the world, but I didn't know how to broach the subject," he says.

As for why he was hesitant, well that's because Pitt felt he was giving his girlfriend benefits, just like former World Bank president Wolfowitz, who stepped down after being accused of giving his girlfriend a high-paying position.

"It feels a little like Wolfowitz trying to get his girlfriend a job," Pitt added.

'A Mighty Heart' recently premiered at the Cannes Film Festival.
