London, June 15 : Justin Timberlake may land in the doghouse with girlfriend Jessica Biel after announcing that he hasn't met the love of his life yet.
The 26-year old singer perhaps dug a deeper hole by calling Biel his "very dear friend".
Timberlake also revealed that while he had given in to Biel's request to join him for the London gig of his tour, he was not going to give in to her 'pretty face' again by letting her accompany him to Paris.
He also insisted that for the time being, he was only interested in his upcoming concerts, and not 'playing sweethearts'.
"She truly insisted that she came with me on tour. I don't know how to say no to a pretty face. But it wasn't really a good idea. This time I'm putting the machine before everything else. Jessica met up with me in Manchester, but for Paris I told her categorically no. This tour is very important for me. I'm doing it really seriously so there's no question of playing sweethearts!" the Mirror quoted him, as saying.
Timberlake also opened up about his former lady love Cameron Diaz, with whom he recently met up at the London premiere of the Shrek 3.
"Cameron is without doubt one of my best friends. I adore her and I hope it will always be like that," he said.
The SexyBack singer also laughed off reports of a romance with Scarlett Johansson, and said that making the world believe that they were lovers was the last lie he told.
"When I made the whole world believe that Scarlett was my girlfriend," he told French mag Public.
