London, June 14 : Lovebirds actor Billy Zane and actress Kelly Brook believe that they were also lovers in their past lives.
The couple co-star in their upcoming flick 'Fishtales' in which Brook is starring as a mermaid Nereid who falls in love with widowed professor Thomas Bradley played by Zane.
The actor insisted that the film also deals with the concept of connection from the past and 'reunion'.
"It's ironic that we're dealing with mythology and the ethereal realm in this movie. It's a sense of a reunion - whether it as past life or anything like that," the Sun quoted Zane, as saying.
"There are no coincidences in life. What is it? You can travel oceans of time!" he said.
The actress revealed that the 41-year-old actor things that the two met in a former life, which is why they have such strong bonding.
"He thinks he met me in a past life. That's because I'm so friendly," Brook said.
"I'm like, 'Oh, hello!' and he's like, 'I must know you from somewhere. You're so forward!' " she added.
Zane and Brook, who met on the set of Survival Island, are set to marry later this year after a three-year courtship.
