London, June 14 : Actor William Hurt is reportedly set to join the crew of the upcoming Hulk sequel, 'The Incredible Hulk'.
The 57-year-old will star as General Thaddeus 'Thunderbolt' Ross, a military official who has devoted his life to arresting the hero.
'Thunderbolt' is also the father of Hulk's human alter ego, Bruce Banner's love interest Betty Ross, the BBC reports.
The superhero film which is based on the fictional Marvel Comics character the Hulk will be directed by Louis Leterrier and will star Edward Norton, Liv Tyler, Tim Roth, and William Hurt.
The Incredible Hulk has a target release date of June 13, 2008.
