New York, June 14 : Boxer Muhammad Ali's daughter Maryum hosted a Magnum photos tribute for her father, in the West Village, New York.
The exhibition, that will go on till July 29, 2007, is created by Maryum 'May May', and the boxer's long-time manager and friend Gene Kilroy.
It mingles iconic images of the 'Champ' with rare glimpses of the man behind the myth.
Maryum insisted that former three-time World Heavyweight Champion, who is suffering from Parkinson's, is a 'strong' person.
'He's doing pretty good. He's a very strong, resilient person. He accepts the deal God gave him'," New York Daily quoted Maryum, as saying.
Maryum quipped that the legendary boxer, who took home a gold medal from the Rome Olympics in 1960, will participate in the next Olympics at Beijing only if he is paid 'big bucks'.
"He might not do it unless they pay him the big bucks!" she said.
Other guests present at the party, organised by Claiborne and Details magazine, were actor Michael J. Fox, model/actress/singer Heidi Klum, Damon Dash, fashion model Lauren Bush, actor Adrien Brody and singer Mariah Carey.
