Washington, June 14 : Pop singer, Britney Spears' mum, Lynne, has spoken for the first time after her tiff with her celeb daughter, and admits that she finds it is really sad that the whole world had to watch her daughter make mistakes.
Lynne said that the Toxic singer was in that point of time in her life, when she was 'trying to figure' out herself, but being the celeb that she is, unlike other people, Britney had to do so with everyone watching her.
"You go into a time in your life with the world watching and you are just trying to figure yourself out," Us weekly quoted her, as saying.
"It's sad that the whole world had to watch her make mistakes that all of us have made at one time or another," she added.
However, Lynne refused to appear on US talk show 'The View', after she came to know that the topic of discussion would be her daughter's rehab stint and recovery.
She wanted to promote a business deal over the show, but she backed out when she realised the hosts will be asking questions related to Spears.
The singer decided to sever all ties with her mum, after she asked her to give up her hard-partying ways and insisted that she checked into rehab
Spears and her mum are in talking terms now, as they were spotted smiling and joking with each other after a meeting with Spears' younger sis Jamie Lynne and her boyfriend in Bel Air.
