Washington, June 1 : After a series of bizarre incidents, actress Lindsay Lohan has landed into the rehab again, and friends say that she is very happy being there.
Friends of the 'Mean Girls' star claimed that she is settling well into her rehab treatment.
"She's happy where she is and is just taking time to herself to learn and be okay. I've been in touch with her and she likes it," People quoted stylist friend Nate Newell, as saying.
Lohan checked into Promises treatment center in Malibu on Memorial Day after a series of weekend parties following her DUI citation.
"She's so much in the public eye 24 hours a day that she's gotten so caught up. I think she surrounds herself with good people generally, but all the pressure that she's around has created this alternate universe in a way and it's hard for her to stay grounded," Newell said.
Lohan, who is a well known face on the Hollywood party circuit, is not going to rehab for the first time.
The actress checked into the Wonderland rehabilitation centre in Los Angeles in January after allegedly collapsing at a party after the Golden Globes award ceremony.
But her nonstop partying after her month-long stay only increased suspicions of substance abuse.
Sources have claimed that this time Lohan will undergo "a serious medical treatment program," as opposed to the lenient treatment she enjoyed during her stint at the Wonderland.
"During her stay at Wonderland, she was back and forth from the I Know Who Killed Me set, but this time she'll totally be there [at Promises]. She just needs to be away from everyone and not get attacked by the paparazzi," Newell said.
