A documentary film about Australian sensation Kylie Minogues return to the world of pop music after her battle with breast cancer will be released later this year.

Washington, June 1 : A documentary film about Australian sensation Kylie Minogue's return to the world of pop music after her battle with breast cancer will be released later this year.

'White Diamond' has been shot by Minogue's stylist William Baker, and it features her return to the stage on her showgirl Homecoming world tour that kicked off last November in Sydney.

The film centers around her successful recovery, and her split from boyfriend Oliver Martinez.

"William Baker directed this two-hour film, in which there are many funny and many tearful moments," Contactmusic quoted Minogue as saying.

"I have to admit I was a little nervous to work on such a revealing project and I did pull the plug several times, but due to Willie's persistence it is now almost finished. It gives a great insight into the world of touring and the touring family," she added.

Minogue, however, did not reveal any official date for the film's release.

The singer's world tour had to be halted in 2005, after she was diagnosed with breast cancer.
