Coleen McLoughlin will wage a war on size zero fad through her new TV show Coleens Real Women that will be aired on ITV.
London, July 8 : Coleen McLoughlin will wage a war on size zero fad through her new TV show 'Coleen's Real Women' that will be aired on ITV.
McLoughlin, who is engaged to English footballer Wayne Rooney, will pitch healthy size 16 girls against scrawny professional models to compete for a contract with the Ultimo lingerie firm.
An insider has revealed that the 21-year-old is set to confront the 'image-obsessed society' and help real women get high profile advertising and modelling jobs.
"Coleen is on a mission to challenge the image-obsessed society we live in and put real women into high profile advertising and modelling jobs," the Mirror quoted the source, as saying.
"She's been inspired by the Dove ads and thinks it's time to turn the tables on size zero culture. With her profile there is no one better to do it," the source added.
In the show, McLoughlin will be given a brief by an advertising firm or brand every week.
A fashion producer and a booker will help her look for real women who are right for the job.
