Washington, July 7 : Actress Liv Tyler has credited her sensible behaviour to her parents' love of partying.
The 30-year-old revealed that as a kid she never threw a fit to do something because her parents were very 'cool'.
"I never had that much to rebel against because my parents were always so kind of cool," Contactmusic quoted Tyler, as saying.
The actress insisted that she was level-headed because she saw her parents letting their hair down all the time.
"I mean, what could I do? Run away and smoke a joint and go to rock concerts for the weekend? I mean, that's all they ever did," she said.
The 'Armageddon' actress is the first-born daughter of 'Aerosmith' frontman Steven Tyler model/singer Bebe Buell.
Having grown up with the understanding that rock star Todd Rundgren was her biological father, she only found out the truth about her parentage at age 9, after noticing that Tyler's daughter Mia looked like her twin.
