Oscar-nominee Bob Hoskins has revealed that he is once again working with director Robert Zemeckis on a spiffy new take on A Christmas Carol.
Melbourne, July 6 : Oscar-nominee Bob Hoskins has revealed that he is once again working with director Robert Zemeckis on a spiffy new take on 'A Christmas Carol'.
"(I have been asked) to play Mr. Fezziwig. He's doing in that way he did 'Polar Express.' You stand in a box with that funny suit on and it reads everything you do...Am I going to do it? Of course I am!" Moviehole quoted him as telling Empire Online.
Hoskins, who earlier made 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit?' with Zemeckis, further said that the producers have also signed Jim Carrey to portray Ebenezer Scrooge, the main character in the story.
'A Christmas Carol' will be based on Charles Dickens' 1843 novel of the same name.
