Writing on her website, the 25-year-old singer said that anyone who believed the story was 'gullible'.
"Anyone who believed that rumour needs to look up the meaning of the word gullible and apply it to themselves," the Mirror quoted her as saying.
Bedingfield insisted that she could not miss wearing the essentials at the gig because she had the idea of her proximity to the crowd below.
"Think about it, I wore a mini dress, the cameras and audience were directly below and it was windy... I'm not about to expose myself to millions of viewers and Princes," she said.
